It’s okay to cry. In fact, I encourage it.
I don’t know why, but there is this stigma that exists that basically says that you are not a “strong Christian” if you cry. Funny thing though, I believe you are stronger if you do.
If you trust God enough to cry out to the Lord, then you are laying all your burdens on God. God will give you peace. According to Revelation 21:4,
[God] will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
In fact, Jesus, the One who saved us all, cried. The shortest verse in the entire bible shows that it is okay to cry.
So, weep your heart out. Be emotional in front of God. Cry out to God in anger and in sorrow and in joy.
Better to yell at God than to say nothing.
